With the money, the business hopes to reach a wider audience.
GroundGame.Health, under the direction of CEO Susan Rawlings Molina, has developed a model that unites managed care organizations (MCOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), and members to provide services that meet people’s most pressing needs, be it meal delivery to homes, other health-related social needs, other health resources, or addressing systemic issues like health literacy.
In addition to facilitating the transfer of over $26 million from MCOs to CBOs to offer continuous, sustainable support for the local groups most positioned to satisfy those needs, the company has met over 180,000 social impact requirements to far.
Additionally, GroungGame.Health has combined with SameSky Health, a provider of cultural experiences that enhances member engagement and fosters trust. It will make it easier for GroundGame.Health to expand its influence, effectiveness, and reach.
