Novuna Business Finance awarded £10 million to Aura Power, a renewable energy project developer located in Bristol, UK.
The money will be used by the business to grow both its operations and growth initiatives.
It is a global developer of renewable energy projects, with Simon Coulson serving as CEO. Currently, they are joint venture partners with the international engineering company ib Vogt and have around 12GW of operational utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects in construction worldwide.
“We are delighted to partner with Novuna Business Finance to secure this funding, especially as the company’s ethos aligns with our own when it comes to sustainability. Over the past five years, Aura has successfully grown its development company, and as a result, several of our projects are currently moving into the latter stages of development. Since late-stage assets require more money by nature, this investment is essential to making sure these projects get to RTB on schedule. Making sure we can contribute to achieving the global net-zero goals.”
