Concurrent with the financing is the introduction of BlackRock’s first tokenized fund launched on Ethereum, the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), which investors may access by using Securitize to subscribe to the fund.
“We are thrilled to have the support of such distinguished investors as we continue to drive the digitization of capital markets through tokenization.”

In addition to paying daily collected dividends straight to investors’ wallets as fresh tokens every month, BUIDL aims to provide a consistent $1 per token. The fund gives investors the opportunity to earn income while holding the token on the blockchain by allocating 100% of its entire assets to cash, US Treasury bills, and repurchase agreements.
One can transfer tokens to other pre-approved investors at any time of day, seven days a week. Holders of BUIDL can use Circle’s smart contract capabilities to transfer their shares to Circle for USDC. Additionally, fund members will be able to select how they want to store their tokens thanks to various custody choices.
