Stock market holiday: April 9 will be commemorated as Gudi Padwa in Maharashtra, the Marathi New Year that celebrates the beginning of the harvest season. In West Bengal, this occasion is known as Poila Boishak. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka celebrate Ugadi at this time.

According to the calendar of stock market holidays for 2024, the Indian stock market will be open on Tuesday, Gudi Padwa 2024. Trading at the BSE and NSE will continue as usual. According to the list, the immediate stock market holiday is on April 11, and the month of April will also include another holiday on April 17.
The Indian stock market will be closed on April 17 to commemorate Ram Navami. Except for these two, no stock market holidays will occur in April 2024.
In May, there is only one stock market holiday which falls on May 1 for Maharashtra Day celebration. In June and July as well , there is just one stock market holiday.
