The $1.5 million seed funding round for Crypto Rogue Games, a game studio based in Tallinn, Estonia, and Umea, Sweden, has concluded.
Merit Circle, Avalanche, SNZ, Coinfund, Lyrik Ventures, Devmons, and Layer Zero CEO and co-founder Bryan Pellegrino were among the backers.
The money will be used by the Crypto Rogue to quicken and broaden the development of Crystals of Naramunz, an upcoming hack ‘n’ slash Action RPG.
An upcoming free-to-play hack ‘n’ slash action role-playing game called Crystals of Naramunz (CoN) is set in a post-apocalyptic steampunk world centuries after the global catastrophe known as “The Nexus.”
Players assume the roles of various heroes as they explore a world full of strong relics, dungeons, and ruins.
Crystals of Naramunz, a game heavily influenced by Diablo and Path of Exile, is highly replayable because of its deep itemization, power progression, seasonal resets, and multiplayer features. The Closed Beta is currently in development and is scheduled for June of this year.
