The San Francisco, California-based OpenMeter has raised $3 million in seed money for their data source platform for AI monetization.
Y Combinator, Haystack, and Sunflower Capital were among the backers.
The company plans to use the money to increase its development and operational initiatives.
Under the direction of CEO Peter Marton, OpenMeter standardizes usage metering so that developers can profit from AI technologies and make usage metering more uniform.
To gather, combine, and evaluate consumption data for product, revenue, and efficiency teams, engineers use its Cloud platform to process millions of usage events every second.
Its managed open-source metering technology, OpenMeter Cloud, provides visibility, use statistics, Stripe connectivity, and a per-usage cost understanding.
