Joyride, a shared mobility platform provider based in Toronto, Canada, has raised $5.2 million in Series A funding.
Yamaha Motors was leading the round.
The money will be used by the business to develop its proprietary technology, which facilitates shared mobility fleets in midsize and corporate sectors, and to broaden its capabilities to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Under the direction of CEO and President Mike Chrzanowski, Joyride offers a suite of solutions, including a branded user application, backend management tracking software, and automated operational tools, that streamline fleet management and IoT connectivity for organizations.
Since 2014, the firm has been a leader in mobility software, enabling the deployment of connected electric vehicles in over 250 global markets, ranging from minicars and golf cars to e-scooters and e-bikes.
