Drink company Liquid Death, situated in Los Angeles, California, has raised $67 million in funding.
SuRo Capital, a new investor, as well as Live Nation, Science, Inc., and Creek Capital Partners were among the backers.
Actor Josh Brolin, NFL All-Pro and businessman DeAndre Hopkins, co-creator of The Chapelle Show Neal Brennan, Derrick Green, and Australian comedian Jim Jefferies were among the other investors.
The money will be used by the business to speed up product creation and expand distribution across the country.
Liquid Death is a beverage company that uses humor and entertainment to promote sustainability and wellness. It is led by CEO and Founder Mike Cessario. The company’s newest product lines include flavored sparkling water and iced tea.
It packages health items in recyclable tallboy cans.
The announcement came after Liquid Death’s first primary product outside of the ready-to-drink beverage market, Death Dust, their hydration sticks.
