For 2024, Nissan is giving the Juke, its small SUV, a mid-life makeover. The model receives a new version named the N-Sport in addition to a significantly updated interior. The famous exterior yellow color scheme of the first-generation car has been brought back, which is another noteworthy feature.
The car’s mechanical parts, however, haven’t changed. Nissan claims that customer feedback led to the improvements made to the vehicle. As of the now, the Nissan Juke is not available in India. But by 2025, it’s anticipated to arrive here. The UK’s Sunderland Plant has already started producing the Nissan Juke Facelift, with deliveries set to begin in the coming months. The car’s pricing will be revealed shortly. Now let’s examine the model’s main features.
The updated dashboard is topped by a new 12.3-inch infotainment display that took the place of the previous 8-inch screen. For easier access to the controls, this larger display is placed closer to the driver. Additionally, it may be combined with a brand-new, fully customizable 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and is a standard feature.
The Nissan model also has an electric handbrake, a reworked center armrest, a larger glovebox, a wireless charging pad, and USB-A and USB-C outlets for each passenger.
Engine
The Nissan Juke retains its two available powerplant options because it hasn’t undergone any mechanical changes. The first is a 1.0-liter gasoline engine with turbocharger that produces up to 200Nm and 113 horsepower. It is available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Then there’s a stronger hybrid variant with a 47-bhp electric motor and a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 92 horsepower. This version powers the front axle using a multi-mode automated gearbox in addition to a 1.2kWh water-cooled battery.
The Nissan Juke is expected to arrive in India before the end of the following year. As of right now, the carmaker only has the Nissan Magnite SUV available in our market. With its NA engine, the Magnite SUV was given a 5-speed AMT gearbox last year.
