Bhaskar Sambasivan has been named Chief Executive Officer by Saama. Sambasivan succeeds Vivek Sharma, who is stepping down from his role for personal reasons after having successfully guided the company through a period of growth and expansion.
An industry expert within life sciences, Bhaskar has a strong understanding of how technology breakthroughs are driving today’s advances in science and medicine.
In his role as CEO of Saama, Bhaskar will work on Saama’s AI-enabled SaaS solutions and products, which assist the whole range of clinical development in the life sciences sector. Bhaskar has also been added to the board of directors of the company.
