The purchase of Eden Health, an employer-centered virtual-first medical provider, was announced by Centivo, a NYC-based healthcare firm for companies and their workers.
The deal’s total value was not made public.
Centivo will expand its primary care-focused health plans to more working families and companies throughout the country faster thanks to the purchase. With this purchase, Centivo has expanded its market reach to include all 50 U.S. states and currently provides healthcare obstacles removal services to over 160 employers, ranging in size from Fortune 100 firms to small enterprises.
The clinical services of Eden Health will be completely integrated into Centivo, expanding its clinical offerings to include urgent care, mental health services, and workplace pop-up clinics, all while improving the company’s virtual advanced primary care practice.
The purchase will also include the integration of Eden Health’s technology, which enables data-driven engagement and collaborative treatment via omni-channel interactions by fusing its physicians’ Electronic Medical Records system with its proprietary member app.
