AI Squared, a Washington, DC-based technology firm that integrates data into web-based business applications, purchased Multiwoven, an open-source reverse ETL (rETL) startup with locations in Bangaolore, India, and Mountain View, California.
The deal’s total value was not made public.
In order to assist businesses in integrating data and AI insights into business applications, AI Squared will be integrating Multiwoven’s rETL capabilities into its current enterprise offering through this purchase. Not only will AI Squared include Multiwoven’s technology into its business platform, but it will also actively foster the advancement of Multiwoven’s open-source technology.
As part of the transaction, the Multiwoven team joins AI Squared, and the founders take on senior positions inside the business. As of right now, AI Squared’s Chief Product Officer will be Sujoy Golan, its Chief Technology Officer will be Nagendra Dhanakeerthi, and its SVP of Engineering will be Subin Thattaparambil.
