In order to keep up with the expanding market demand, the firm is utilizing the money to expand its operations and expedite product development.
Ciba Health, a digital health startup led by CEO Dr. Innocent Clement, seeks to streamline healthcare by using a customized, whole-person approach to prevent and cure chronic illnesses at their source.
In addition to providing benefits to companies, the firm is available to individuals and their families.
In order to provide its health plans to children five years old and older, as well as their families, Ciba Health recently introduced its Pediatric Metabolic Program in March.
The business has also joined Solera Health’s network to assist companies in providing basic medical care at a reasonable cost, and it has collaborated with Instacart Health to combine Ciba Health’s nutrition program and dietician services with Instacart’s grocery buying service.
In the upcoming months, the firm intends to increase the number of employees it employs, forge new alliances with third-party administrators, and incorporate GLP-1 step treatments into its employer offers, PBMs, and health plans.
Nwamaka Imasogie, a former Principal Software Engineer in Microsoft’s healthcare AI division, was recently named Chief Technology Officer by Ciba. From Chief Strategy and Operating Officer to President, Roger Chahine has been elevated.
About Ciba Health
Ciba Health treats a range of illnesses, such as type 2 diabetes, digestive health difficulties, and more, by utilizing skilled care teams, lab testing, and a root-cause approach to identify and address fundamental issues. A questionnaire and quick clinical tests are part of the onboarding process, and they uncover over 300 lab indicators—as opposed to the typical 50 markers in traditional exams. In order to understand their conditions and treat the underlying causes in a way that is accessible, transparent, convenient, and comfortable, each patient is matched with a provider team that includes 1:1 visits with a health coach, physician, and dietician. Additionally, wearable devices like Fitbits and sleep trackers that are not typically offered in the healthcare market are given to patients.
