The Center for Development of Advanced Computing has given RailTel a work order for ₹36.35 crore worth of VMware virtualization licenses with three years of maintenance.
The agreement must be carried out by July 19, 2024.
The Bihar government’s education department placed an order with the firm valued at over ₹99 crore.
As per the agreement, the Indian Railways public sector undertaking (PSU) would provide student kits, which are instructional materials, for Classes VI through XII.
“The company’s orderbook now stands at ₹4,900 crore. “We received a pretty respectable amount of orders in March. As a result, we are already finishing almost ₹1,250 crore of orders in just this quarter. By FY25, 40% of the order book should be turned into income. Regarding the growth guidance, we will undoubtedly do our hardest to surpass the present growth projection, and we have every confidence that we will succeed. The growth guidance will undoubtedly be maintained after this. 25% more the following year.”

The Bihar Education Project Council awarded the corporation a ₹99.02 crore contract. According to a stock market filing by RailTel Corporation, the deal will be implemented by June 13, 2024.
On Friday, March 22, RailTel’s stock closed 0.42% higher at ₹359.55 per share. The last year saw a 261.9% rise in the stock.
