$10 million in Series C funding was raised by Ventiva, an active cooling solutions firm situated in Fremont, CA, for use in electronic devices.
Investment funds and current investors took part in the round, which raised the total sum to $40 million.
The money will be used by the business to improve customer service, develop its technologies, and expand even faster.
Ventiva, under the direction of Chairman, President, and CEO Carl Schlachte, focuses on providing lightweight, vibration-free, and silent active cooling solutions for electronic devices.
Its unique ICE technology is a new commercial cooling architecture for electronics that combines engineering, physics, and fluid dynamics.
“Despite a difficult fundraising environment for tech companies, this funding round demonstrates clear understanding among investors that the consumer electronics markets are eager for a silent, vibration-free, solid-state active thermal solution and Ventiva has that solution. Ventiva has an immense untapped market opportunity ahead.”
CEO Carl Schlachte
With an initial focus on the laptop industry, Ventiva is preparing to introduce its most recent generation of Ionic Cooling Engines (ICE). After that, the business will apply its ICE technology to a wide range of devices, including television, portable gaming modules, AR/VR, and various electronics.
