A $43 million Series B fundraising round was secured by Nucleus Security, a risk-based vulnerability management platform provider headquartered in Sarasota, Florida.
Lead Edge Capital and Arthur Ventures led the financing. A new investor and partner in the Series B round is In-Q-Tel (IQT), a non-profit strategic investor for the American national security community and its allies.
Under the direction of CEO Steve Carter, Nucleus is a cybersecurity technology company that specializes in vulnerability intelligence and software for risk-based vulnerability management. Worldwide businesses, including well-known brands like Motorola Solutions, National Bank of Australia, Abbott Labs, Canva, and Orange Cyberdefense, employ its products.
Nucleus unifies the current security stack by integrating with more than 100 scanners and external technologies, forming a centralized center to manage the disarray of vulnerability investigation, triage, and repair.
The company raised $20M in its last round in March 2022, led by Lead Edge Capital.
