$60 million in Series A funding was raised by Fabric, a NYC-based company that develops a care enablement system that automates clinical and administrative tasks.
Leading the investment was General Catalyst, with participation from Box Group, Atento Capital, Salesforce Ventures, GV (Google Ventures), Thrive Capital, and Vast Ventures.
The cash will be used by the company to pursue strategic merger and acquisition options as well as expand AI capabilities to increase consumer efficiency.
Fabric is a health tech startup led by CEO Aniq Rahman. It offers three types of care enablement systems to providers: engagement suite, virtual care suite, and in-person care suite. It automates staff workflows while integrating virtual and in-person care across intake, triage, routing, and treatment by utilizing conversational AI and intelligent adaptive interviews.
Over 3,500 doctors have benefited from process streamlining provided by Fabric, which has conducted over 12 million patient contacts to date. Luminis Health, OSF HealthCare, MUSC Health, and Intermountain are among the clients.
