A job platform provider based in London, UK, Pollen Careers, raised £112K in funding.
The investment round, conducted through SeedLegals, was concluded after being overfunded by 12% and reaching 100% of the target amount in just one week.
With the money, the business plans to grow to accommodate more employers, meet demand, and automate product design and processes.
Pollen Careers, founded in 2023 by Sophie O’Brien, is a platform that seeks to improve the inclusiveness and equity of the entry-level job market by providing employers with access to a diverse pool of talented candidates who are ready to make an impact and by providing young job seekers with the individualized support, opportunities, and skills they require.
Since its founding, Pollen Careers has helped businesses including Cubitts, HPS Engineering, MyBigCareer, Kitt, and others while also creating and sustaining a network of over 2,500 entry-level applicants.
About Pollen Careers
Rather of disseminating information through a job description and resume, Pollen’s platform offers entry-level jobseekers individualized support, opportunities, and skills before putting them in touch with recruiters. This makes recruiting easier. They contend that hiring diverse candidates is hampered by the conventional CV procedure, which also disadvantaged those without job experience.
