The global consulting firm Bain & Company purchased the artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions company PiperLab, located in Madrid, Spain.
Bain will be able to expand its AI and ML services for customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) thanks to the acquisition. Through the agreement, Bain’s AI practice, the worldwide Advanced Analytics Group (AAG), will have a new Advanced Analytics and AI hub.
PiperLab was established in 2015 with the goal of offering businesses data-driven solutions that enhance operations, boost output, and cut expenses.
Before joining Bain, the business established a reputation for itself in the area and in a variety of industries, working with customers ranging from large multinationals to start-ups in the insurance, telecom, utilities, logistics, digital, and media sectors.
It will now be a part of the global ecosystem of Bain’s AAG, which consists of over 500 data scientists, machine learning engineers, and operations research specialists that collaborate to provide clients throughout the world with comprehensive business and technological solutions.
Bain and PiperLab will now collaborate as a single, multidisciplinary team as part of Bain’s AAG EMEA operations. This team will use Bain’s whole array of AI products and solutions to assist customers in securing actual business value.
