£2.1 million was raised by Exeter, UK-based RoleMapper, an AI-powered employment management platform.
The capital includes a £1 million equity investment from Mercia Ventures, QantX, and current private investors, as well as an appointed fund manager, The FSE Group, from the British Business Bank’s South West Investment Fund (SWIF).
The company plans to increase operations and development activities with the help of the money.
Sara Hill, the CEO and founder of RoleMapper, leads the company’s AI-powered job description management platform, which automates the generation, review, and governance of job descriptions, job families, and work architectures.
“We are thrilled to have the South West Investment Fund and FSE on board as new partners, enabling us to further strengthen our product, unique AI models and build capacity for further roll-out. We look forward to working with all our investors as we continue our growth journey and build on the progress we’ve made helping organisations create better jobs and build inclusive workplaces.”
